By using the latest technology to extract the unique DNA carbon from a lock of hair, add it to a real diamond seed and create a magnificent, GIA certified Diamond. The lock of hair can come from you, a loved one, an entire family, or even a pet. They can also obtain personal carbon from cremated ashes. The DNA diamond is created in Radiant, Princess or Brilliant cuts and in sparkling colors or red, yellow-green, or cognac and in sizes ranging from 0.25 carats to 2.0 carats. The whole process takes 70 days or less.

Here’s how the DNA2Diamonds creation works:

Step 1: The creation of your diamond begins when we receive your signature hair or cremated ashes. A personal identification number is issued.

Step 2: Using proprietary, we extract the carbon signature from the hair or ashes you provide. This is then added to a real diamond seed, and the mixture is placed in custom-designed incubator (diamond growing process).

Step 3: The incubator uses a unique and complex High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) process to duplicate the earth’s natural diamond-growing conditions. Temperatures exceed 2000 degrees Celsius. And pressure is greater than 60,000 atmospheres. This process creates, in a matter of weeks, a real diamond that otherwise might take hundreds of thousands of years below the earth’s crust.

Step 4: After the growth phase is complete, a genuine diamond “in the rough” results. It’s chemically, physically and optically identical to a natural earth-minded diamond. Born molecularly, with the unique DNA carbon signature from you or a loved one, your DNA2Dimamond is one-of-a-kind and becomes the most personal diamond in the world.

Step 5: Master gem cutters cut and polish your diamond in accordance with the highest industry standards to fulfill your custom request. Your DNA2Diamond will be individually identified with a laser-engraved ID number on the girdle of the diamond. Personal messages can also be laser-engraved. These laser-inscriptions do not affect the fire and luster of your diamond. They are visible only under x20 magnification.

Step 6: Your diamond is then independently authenticated, inspected, measured and graded by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

Step 7: Your personal diamond is placed in our gift box and included with your diamond is the original GIA Certification.
